From Inclusion to Visibility
The team was proudly diverse — on paper. People came from different backgrounds, spoke different languages, and celebrated different traditions. But in daily life, that richness stayed hidden. Past initiatives like “Cultural Days” felt one-sided or awkward. People wanted more than representation — they wanted recognition.
So we turned culture into a quest — and the office into a discovery field
Designing a Journey Through Identity
Format: “The Diversity Hunt” — a live QR-based cultural scavenger hunt
Theme: Use movement, play, and sensory tasks to help colleagues explore each other’s roots
Mechanics: Each team completed symbolic and hands-on missions across seven cultural zones — collecting tokens of understanding and pride

What Made It Work
-
Language mini-games, storytelling booths, taste and art challenges
-
QR tasks led participants to discover unknown details about teammates’ backgrounds
-
A collaborative mosaic finale represented the team’s shared map of heritage
-
Optional story booth captured reflections for a future internal podcast
Culture as Action, Not Agenda
Instead of speeches or panels, this was a walking, tasting, drawing, laughing experience. Everyone contributed — not as audience, but as authors of a collective story
What Changed

87% said they “felt culturally seen” for the first time at work

62% shared at least one photo or personal story within 48 hours after the event
A permanent “Mosaic of Us” wall was installed in the office, using photos and symbols from the day
Team members began hosting informal lunchtime sessions to share traditions, music, or food from their heritage
Why It Worked
Because diversity didn’t need a spotlight — it needed a space. By turning passive acknowledgment into active participation, we made identity part of the everyday fabric of the team
